US or Japan

アメリカにいると自然に様々なことについて日米の比較をしてしまいます。どちらも長所・短所があるので、どちらが良いかは結果的には人によりけりなんですが。ただ日本在住の日本人でもアメリカ向きだろうと思う人が自分の周りでも何人かいます。自分はと言えば、大ざっぱな気質がアメリカよりかと思うこともありますが、やはり時間の感覚等で日本人を実感する機会が多いと思います。

さてこちらをご覧ください。実際の機内アナウンスを撮ったものらしいです。(サウスウエストライン）あなたはこれを見てどう思いますか？

As you know, I am living in US, so I have always automatically compared all of things between US and my country; which are cultures, economy, life style…etc. Everyone knows the every country have strong points and weaknesses, so I can’t compare easily. I can find someone is pro-American around me in my country.

Anyway, please watch this movie. This movie was filmed in a plain of South West Airline. Of course, this movie is not artificial. What do you think about this movie?

これを見て笑える人はアメリカよりの人。
これを見てこの人クビになるでしょうと考える人は日本より人。

根拠は無いですが、みんな納得できるのではないでしょうか。

If you thought that the movie was really funny, you were pro-American character.
If you thought that the movie was really crazy and the flight attendant would be fired, you were pro-Japanese character.

I have no foundation of this idea, but I think that you will readily understand this!
